Carlos Adames to beat Julian Williams by Decision/Technical Decision (Sunday 03:00)

But back-to-back losses either side of the pandemic damaged the stock of “J Rock” and he’s struggled to claw back that momentum ever since.
He has now been handed to the hard-hitting Dominican Carlos Adames who is looking to run to a middleweight title after going 4-0 since a loss to Patrick Teixeira in the division below.
Adamas may go onto claim world honours in the future, but we’re not expecting Williams to be a pushover in Minneapolis. Half of his last six fights have gone the distance and we’re expecting the same again on Saturday night.
Edgar Berlanga to beat Jason Quigley in Rounds 4-6 (Sunday 04:00)
Edgar Berlanga turned from a one-round KO king to a battling 12-round fighter overnight.
The 26-year-old ran 16-0 via 1st round knockouts until a run of four fights since mid-2021 has seen him win on the scorecards.
Ireland’s Jason Quigley will be wary that Berlanga will be looking to get back to his destructive best in New York, but it’s unclear if he will be able to do anything about it.
At 32, he is probably past his best, and he must still haunted by the demons on a 2nd round knockout at the hands of the famous non-puncher Demetrius Andrade…
An early-mid stoppage from the home fighter looks to be where the value lies as Quigley becomes unstuck when he is forced to open up his attacks.
