Tizz Talks: 11/1 & 10/1 Premier League Betting Tips

Leeds United vs Newcastle United

A game of epic proportions to start off the weekend’s Premier League action as Sam Allardyce returns to his old club Newcastle United in just his second game in charge of Leeds. It’s all or nothing for both teams with very different agendas but the same outcome needed, three points. It is desperate times at Elland Road with the club currently languishing in the relegation zone with just three games remaining.

As for The Magpies they are in third place and need to secure their place for next season’s Champions League, with Liverpool and Manchester United hot on their tails. It’s the first home game for Big Sam and the fans will be hoping that the new manager bounce can give them a surprise win this weekend at odds of 7/2. I have picked out a 10/1 bet builder and I am steering away from including the final match result. Newcastle’s Joelinton has picked up more cards this campaign (12) than any other player in the division. Another big stat in this match is that all of Leeds last 10 games in the Premier League have ended with both teams on the scoresheet at the final whistle. So no surprise then that the first two selections in my bet builder are Joelinton to be carded and both teams to score. Completing the bet builder I like the look of Newcastle’s Joe Willock to have a shot on target at 8/11. Willock has had another terrific campaign with many calling for Southgate to give him his first England call up.

Leeds will be without Tyler Adams, Stuart Dallas and Luis Sinisterra through injury whilst doubts remain over Liam Cooper’s fitness. As for Newcastle, Emile Krafth, Sean Longstaff and Jamaal Lascelles are unavailable for selection because of injury.

Chelsea vs Nottingham Forest - Both teams to score no draw 19/10

Strugglers Chelsea host another struggling side in Nottingham Forest at Stamford Bridge on Saturday. A bet I like the look of for this one is the both teams to score no draw market. None of the visitors’ last 14 games in the division have ended in a draw. As for the hosts none of their last five games have ended in a draw. Nine of Forest’s last 11 games in the league have ended with both teams scoring and the reverse fixture ended with both teams finding the net. Steve Cooper knows a win and perhaps even a draw could ultimately see his team over the line for securing their Premier League status next season, and he will be looking to attack a vulnerable Chelsea side. As for Lampard he will be desperate for a home win to give the fans a little bit of cheers after a torrid last 12 months.

Aston Villa vs Tottenham Hotspur - Both teams to score 6/10

Another monster game to look forward to on Saturday as Unai Emery’s Aston Villa host Ryan Mason’s Tottenham Hotspur. Both teams are hoping to wrap up European football for the next campaign and a win here could propel either club closer to that goal, at the expense of their opponent. No doubt about it, The Villains are the team that have played the better football since Emery’s arrival and that has reflected in their points tally and league position. The midlands side have picked up 26 points from their last 12 games and Ollie Watkins has found the net seven times during that period. Eight of Spurs last nine league games have ended with both teams scoring a goal and I fancy the same outcome again this weekend, with two strong attacking teams going to battle.

Southampton vs Fulham - Fulham to win 29/20

A defeat for Southampton here would confirm Southampton’s relegation to the Championship, bar a mathematical miracle, given their negative goal difference. Without a win in 10 Premier League games it is difficult to see how the south coast club avoids the drop. Their home form is the worst in the division with just one win in 14 at St. Mary’s. Fulham won the reverse fixture at Craven Cottage 2-1, and a win here would see them finish in the top half on their return to the league. I think that 29/20 for an away win poses great value with Fulham having picked up double the amount of points as Southampton.
