It’s a tasty Saturday of rugby union with some massive southern hemisphere v northern hemisphere clashes.
And we’ve got the best of the action covered with our 12/1 Rugby Union Acca.
- New Zealand -10 points v Ireland
- England +2 points v Australia
- South Africa -19 points v Wales
- Argentina -5 points v Scotland
New Zealand -10 points v Ireland
New Zealand and Ireland kick off their three-match series with the first test at Eden Park in Auckland, and New Zealand should have enough class to cover a 10-point start.
Eden Park is traditionally a fortress for the All Blacks, and they’ve won their last 47 matches there - expect New Zealand to rack up the points in the first half and keep the Irish at bay in the second.
England +2 points v Australia
Australia take on England in Perth in the opening game of their three-match series, and the visitors look an excellent bet receiving two points.
Both sides arrive here on the back of some poor performances, but Eddie Jones has named a strong England side, and if they can keep the penalty count low, they can edge what should be a tight clash.
South Africa -19 points v Wales
South African rugby is currently in a healthy state, and the Springboks will be aiming to whitewash Wales in this three-match series getting underway at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday.
The Welsh struggled in the Six Nations, managing just one victory and losing to Italy - they’re likely to struggle here also against an aggressive Springboks side in front of a sold-out home crowd.
Argentina -5 points v Scotland
Argentina had a tough 2021, but Los Pumas can get 2022 off to a winning start under new boss Michael Cheika when they take on an experimental Scottish side in San Salvador de Jujuy.
The Scots go into this three-match series with Stuart Hogg and Finn Russell both at home - take Argentina to cover the handicap in their first home match in almost three years.
