According to reports from Spain, Real Madrid are competing to sign Jude Bellingham this summer but are unwilling to exceed €100m (£88m) in their bid for the English midfielder.
The Spanish giants are third favourites to sign the England midfielder in the summer but AS are reporting that they have set a limit of £88m - which should rule them out of a move with Liverpool and Manchester City expected to outbid Los Blancos.

Borussia Dortmund is said to be seeking a fee closer to €120m (£105m) for the 19-year-old, a sum that Liverpool and Manchester City may consider, but it is reported that Real Madrid will not.
As a result, Manchester City may be Liverpool’s only competition for Bellingham this summer. Given Liverpool’s current midfield situation, Bellingham may have a more prominent role at Anfield.
Nonetheless, there is still a chance that Bellingham will remain with BVB and not sign with any of the aforementioned teams.
BILD report that Dortmund are offering Bellingham a huge pay increase to £13m-per-year, with a release clause of £131m.
With Real Madrid showing reluctance to spend in the upcoming transfer window and Liverpool’s need for a major overhaul before they can contend at the highest level once again, Bellingham might be persuaded to accept Dortmund’s offer and continue playing in Germany for another one or two years.
Manchester United, PSG and Chelsea are also thought to be in the running for the teenager, but it is thought to be between Liverpool, Man City and Real Madrid to compete seriously.
