Jarrod Bowen injury latest

The forward failed to feature for England during the international break due to fitness concerns, missing the win over Malta and then returning to his club before the flight to North Macedonia.

With Michail Antonio sidelined for ‘a couple of weeks’ after picking up an injury of his own while with the Jamaica squad, David Moyes was keen for his most impressive forward to be fit for the trip to Burnley at the weekend:

He told reporters on Friday: “Michail has got a small injury. It’s not serious. it will probably keep him out for a couple of weeks. I think, give or take, two weeks. I don’t want to nail down an exact time scan but about that long.

“We hope Jarrod will be available tomorrow against Burnley but we will make a decision on that tomorrow.”

Bowen was not included in the squad as West Ham ran out 2-1 winners over the Clarets but Bowen is expected to be back in action this week.
