Wales Announce 2022 World Cup Squad, Including Gareth Bale

Wales have announced their 2022 World Cup squad, as the build up to the tournament continues. 26 men will represent the country, and it is no surprise to see Gareth Bale leading the names, finally getting his chance to play in a World Cup tournament.

Elsewhere, there’s plenty of experience in the squad, with the likes of Aaron Ramsey, Joe Allen and Ben Davies, just some of the names that have many international caps under their belt.

Wales are in Group B, alongside England, and although winning the group may be a step too far for them, they will certainly have their eye on qualifying for the last 16, which would more than likely mean they need to be the USA when they face each other on Monday November 21.

This will be the first time that we see Wales at the World Cup, since they played in 1958, so a landmark occasion for them and a chance to shine on the biggest footballing stage of them all.
