Wolves vs Bournemouth Premier League Betting Stats

There is plenty of midweek Premier League action taking place this week, with four games set to play out on Wednesday evening.

The first of those ties sees Wolves welcome Bournemouth to Molineux at 7:45 pm BST. The pair have endured very similar campaigns this time around, sitting in 11th and 13th place respectively, with just one point separating them.

Despite Wolves and Bournemouth occupying midtable positions late in the season, they both still have an outside chance of clinching some form of European football ahead of 2024/25.

Wolves vs Bournemouth

Wolves head into the game on a rather concerning run of form. The Midlands outfit, as was to be expected, fell to a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Arsenal last time out. However, prior to that meeting, Wolves drew 2-2 with relegation-threatened Nottingham Forest, lost 2-1 to fellow European chasers West Ham, and were held to a 1-1 draw by Championship-bound Burnley.

That poor run has opened up the door for Bournemouth to overtake The Wanderers in the league table. The Cherries go into Wednesday evening’s game having won two, drawn one and lost two of their last five. Andoni Iraola’s men were bested by Aston Villa at Villar Park in their last outing. But before that, they picked up a huge 2-2 draw with Manchester United and wins over Crystal Palace and Everton, with a shock 2-1 loss to Luton the only real blip on their recent record.

As a result, Bournemouth have given themselves an outside chance of making it into the top seven this season:
