World Cup 10/1 Anytime Scorer Double for Friday 3pm Start

The quarter-finals action is starting on Friday afternoon with an interesting clash between Croatia and Brazil. Despite their recent success in WC 2018, The Blazers are labelled as a massive underdog here against in-form Brazilians.

Tite’s side cruised past South Korea in the previous round, managing to score four goals in the first half, firing a warning shot to all other title contenders. Their offense is looking intimidating, especially now that Neymar Jr returned from an injury suffered versus Serbia in round one.

Matchday is going to be wrapped up with a mouthwatering clash between Netherlands and Argentina. Leo Messi has finally broken the curse and scored a goal in the knockout stages for the first time against Australia. The South American side did struggle more than Oranje in the group stages, so we are expecting to see a narrow encounter with a lot of goals. Here are our anytime goalscorer predictions:

Richarlison - Croatia vs BRAZIL

Brazilian fans were not happy with the numbers after the first three games in which their team scored only three times – twice versus Serbia, and once against Switzerland. As mentioned above, things have changed drastically in the knockout stages as Selecao bagged four goals in just 45 minutes versus South Korea.

Tottenham’s striker de Andrade Richarlison is topping the team’s charts after scoring three goals, currently being at 1/6 to finish the tournament as the top Brazil scorer. Croatian defense left a lot of space for Belgium striker Romelu Lukaku who missed four clear goal opportunities. Richarlison should also spend a lot of time inside the box and be a massive threat to Dominik Livakovic. He is going to be our first pick to score at any time at 17/10 odds.

Cody Gakpo - NETHERLANDS vs Argentina

All signs are pointing in direction of another high-scoring affair on Friday night as the Netherlands locks horns against Argentina for a spot in the semi-finals. Oranje is having a blast in the tournament so far, managing to earn three victories in four games. They were victorious against Senegal 2-0, Qatar 3-0, and USA 3-1. The only exception was a 1-1 draw versus Ecuador.

The South American side has kept a clean sheet in half of their games so far, but we don’t see them stopping the Netherlands from scoring. The potential Louis Van Gaal’s team has is incredible, especially through the counterattacks. Cody Gakpo has been the biggest star so far, scoring in all three games played in the group stages. The value of backing PSV’s youngster to score versus Argentina is massive at 33/10.
