The midweek Premier League action kicked off on Tuesday evening with Arsenal taking on London rivals Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal, who are firmly in the title race as the 2023/24 campaign comes to a close, were favourites heading into the match but few likely expected such a dominant display from the Gunners. Mikel Arteta’s men cruised to a 5-0 win thanks to braces from Kai Havertz and Ben White plus a 4th-minute opener from Leandro Trossard.

His blank vs Arsenal on Tuesday did Palmer no favours in the race, but he still has plenty of chances to overtake Haaland in the coming weeks.

Next up in the Golden Boot betting market is Aston Villa forward, Ollie Watkins. The Englishman has taken his game to a new level under the guidance of Unai Emery as the Midlands outfit battle for a Champions League place.
Watkins has been crucial to Villa’s success this term, finding the net 19 times across 33 Premier League outings. He remains one goal behind Haaland and Palmer in the leaderboard with fewer fixtures left this season, but a brace or two in the coming weeks could easily catapult the 28-year-old top of the list.
