Manchester United star Alexis Sanchez has reportedly been eating alone in the training ground canteen since arriving from Arsenal in January, but the real reason has now been revealed.

Sanchez, 29, has been struggling for form since the move and speculation suggested he was not getting on well with his new teammates. One United source even claimed he looked like he didn’t want to be there.
But it has since emerged that the Chilean is forced to eat alone by his own desire, because he spends an extra half an hour on the training pitch attempting to find his best form again.
Another source has defended the player: “He regularly does an extra 30 minutes working on free-kicks and shooting after the main session has finished up. By the time he has showered and changed, the majority of his team-mates have finished eating and gone.”
The pressure is growing on Sanchez, whom it was hoped would spur on a United revival in the Premier League. Manchester City were always likely to be too far ahead to catch this season, but he could have helped close the gap ahead of a clean slate next term.
As it is, City can confirm their title win with victory in the Manchester Derby in two weeks time.
