Accrington Stanley v Doncaster Prediction

Accrington Stanley to beat Doncaster @ 5/4

Accrington Stanley managed a 2-2 draw away at Doncaster in the original fixture and can go one better in the home replay, playing a side who have lost on their four previous trips to the Wham Stadium.

Stanley welcome a team who are poor travellers in general too, losing seven of their last 10 away games, and should be confident after winning three of their last five home matches.

The Lancastrians are 11 places higher than their visitors in the League Two table and can show their quality on Tuesday with a place in the FA Cup second round up for grabs.

Salford v Peterborough Information

  • Where is Salford v Peterborough? Peninsula Stadium, Salford
  • When is Salford v Peterborough? 19:45, Tuesday 14th November
  • What are the odds for Salford v Peterborough? Salford 16/5, Draw 14/5, Peterborough 4/5

Salford v Peterborough Prediction

Peterborough to beat Salford @ 4/5

Peterborough are going well in League One, sitting fourth and five points off the top, and will have been disappointed to have only drawn with League Two side Salford when they met at the Weston Homes Community stadium earlier this month.

They have a chance to rectify that 2-2 disappointment on Tuesday, just as they did in 2022 when these sides met at this stage of the competition, with the Posh winning 3-0 in the replay on that occasion and a similar outcome likely this time around.

Peterborough have been strong on their travels of late, winning two of their last three away games including a 4-2 win over playoff hopefuls Blackpool, and should be too good for their hosts, whose only home win in their last four matches at the Peninsula Stadium came over Manchester United’s Under 21s side.

York v Chester Information

  • Where is York v Chester? LNER Community Stadium, York
  • When is York v Chester? 19:45, Tuesday 14th November
  • What are the odds for York v Chester? York 5/4, Draw 12/5, Chester 11/5

York v Chester Prediction

York to beat Chester @ 5/4

The third match in the acca is an all-non-league clash, with National League outfit York looking to pip National League North side Chester to a place in the second round following a 0-0 stalemate in the fixture earlier this month.

The hosts are unbeaten in four games at home, despite playing three of the top eight sides in the National League in that run, and should continue that run against Chester who are 18 places below them in the English football pyramid.

Chester followed up the 0-0 draw with York with a 3-2 defeat to Darlington, a side in the National League North relegation zone, while Tuesday’s hosts recorded a routine 2-0 away win at Fylde.

York outshot Chester 16 to nine in the reverse fixture and based on that and the subsequent results, a home win looks likely.

Burton v Port Vale Information

  • Where is Burton v Port Vale? Pirelli Stadium, Burton upon Trent
  • When is Burton v Port Vale? 19:45, Tuesday 14th November
  • What are the odds for Burton v Port Vale? Burton 13/10, Draw 12/5, Port Vale 21/10

Burton v Port Vale Prediction

Burton to beat Port Vale @ 13/10

The original fixture between these sides finished 0-0 earlier in the month, but Burton should be confident on their own patch having avoided defeat in their last six matches at the Pirelli Stadium, winning four.

Port Vale have exceeded expectations in one competition already this season, amazingly reaching the quarter-finals of the League Cup, but as a result, they may pursue that trophy instead, meaning they could come unstuck against a side that beat them 3-2 in League One earlier in the campaign.

The Valiants have struggled in front of goal on their travels, scoring just three times in their last six away games, and may lack the firepower to get the better of a side with such a strong home record and who made the third round of this competition last season.
