Cheltenham Video - Two Against The Field in the Martin Pipe

Martin Pipe Handicap Hurdle (4.50pm, Friday)

The Martin Pipe is the concluding race at the Cheltenham Festival and arguably the most difficult to fathom.

Ed is once again going looking for some each way value with with two horses against the field on the basis that they have form at this course.

Ed’s first selection is Eglantine Du Seuil (EW) for Paul Nicholls who won the Mares Novices Hurdle here in 2019. She is 28/1 with Betfred who offer six places.

Ed said “Things haven’t quite gone to plan for her but she has a good record and finished runner-up here in December and this venue seems to bring out the best in her.”

The other horse Ed likes is Mill Green (EW) (33/1 with Betfred) who finished placed in this last year beaten only 4 lengths.

Ed concluded “With a clear run, and if running to that form, you can easily fill the places.”

Betfred is the place to bet here as they are one of the few bookmakers paying out on six places in this race.
