Euro 2020 Group E Betting Guide

Spain were the clear favourites to win Group E before a ball was kicked but it took them two matches to warm to their task and even a thumping 5-0 win over Slovakia was only enough for second place.

Sweden were full value for winning the group but they are viewed as outsiders to go on and win Euro 2020 at 50/1 with Betfair while Spain are a best price of 8/1 with BetVictor.

Slovakia started brightly but faded very quickly while Poland were Group E’s big disappointment, finishing bottom of the group with just one point to show from their three matches.

Group E Locations: Spain (Estadio La Cartuja, Seville), Russia (Krestovsky Stadium, Saint Petersburg)

This is not the way Group E was supposed to play out.

Slovakia were the outsiders with the bookies but claimed a surprise win over Poland in their opening match while Sweden have a win and a draw from their first two matches.

It’s Spain and Poland who find themselves outside of the automatic qualifying positions with just one match to go but can the group’s big hitters haul their way into the Round of 16?

Euro 2020 Betting – Group E

Slovakia were odds on to make it out of Group E after beating Poland but their loss to Sweden coupled with Spain’s need to win when they meet in Seville means that Slovakia are now 2/5 with TonyBet to be eliminated at the group stage.

In contrast, Spain have moved to the 5/6 favourites with Betfair to win Group E despite the fact they have just one goal and one point to show from their first two matches.

There are no dead rubbers in Group E but Sweden are already assured of their place in the knockout stages whereas Poland must win in Saint Petersburg if they are to qualify at odds of 2/1 with BetVictor.
