Jadon Sancho Betting Odds

In a team packed with talent in the forward line, Jadon Sancho is one of England’s most creative outlets. Along with Harry Kane, Raheem Sterling and Marcus Rashford, Sancho will be hugely important for England at the Championships and if they go all the way – Sancho will need to make a big contribution.

Euro 2020 Betting Odds

Gareth Southgate’s England are 5/1 with bet365* to go all the way and win Euro 2020 and Jadon Sancho will be making his first appearance at a major international tournament.

England will get home advantage almost the whole way through the tournament should they finish top of Group D. That is no formality though against Croatia, Scotland and the Czech Republic.

Early Career

Sancho started his career with English Premier League club Watford having joined the Hornets at the age of 7. His progress was recognized by England who picked him for the first time at Under 16 level. At the age of 14 he moved to Manchester City for £66,000 – in a fee that could potentially rise to £500,000.

Club Career

Manchester City

Whilst at City he played a key role in England winning the FIFA under 17 World Cup and his development at blues continued but once interest came in from Borussia Dortmund, Sancho left the club in 2017 for a fee of around £8 million.

Borussia Dortmund

He has become an integral part of the Borussia Dortmund squad ever since, making over 130 appearances and scoring or assisting well over 100 goals in all competitions for the German giants. Sancho took the first season in Germany to acclimatize, making 12 appearances and scoring only one goal before taking the league by storm in 2018/19. The teen sensation bagged 12 goals in 34 Bundesliga appearances as Dortmund pushed Bayern Munich all the way in the league and clinched the DFL Super Cup in a landmark season for the yellows. Sancho’s electric pace, incredible dribbling skill and ability to finish make him a huge threat in both club and international football.

International Career

He made his international debut for England in October 2018 and he scored his first two goals for the Three Lions in a 5-3 win in the Euro 2020 qualifiers over Kosovo in September 2019. At 18 years and 200 days, Sancho is the 11th youngest Englishman to represent their country in a competitive fixture. Following his brace against Kosovo in Euro 2020 qualifying, he is also the 9th youngest player to ever score for England.
