There have been some wonderful strikes so far at Euro 2020 as well as some questionable own goals (nine of them in total!), as the race to catch Cristiano Ronaldo for the Golden Boot continues in the quarter-finals.
Patrik Schick leads the way with four goals out of all the players still in the tournament, with Romelu Lukaku, Raheem Sterling and Haris Seferovic snapping at his heels with three a piece.
We’ve got stuck into the strikers who will be looking to make a name for themselves at the quarter-final stage, and have come up with two names who we fully expect to bag.
Check out who we reckon will hit the back of the net in the quarter-finals, and then use our Predictor game to show off your football knowledge!
Player 1 – Alvaro Morata: Spain (v Switzerland)
Patience is a virtue for Alvaro Morata.
The Juventus striker has struggled with confidence all tournament, but after his left footed pile-driver saw Spain brush aside Croatia in extra-time, we think the 28-year-old could build some momentum against the Swiss.
Morata now has five goals in European Championships, matching the record for his country with Fernando Torres and is at real risk of being underrated by opposition.
Player 2 – Harry Kane: England (v Ukraine)
Harry Kane finally broke his Euro 2020 duck against Germany in the Last 16, with the England captain doubling his nation’s lead late into the Wembley classic.
Make no mistake: Kane is a goal machine.
The 27-year-old rarely goes more than a couple of games without finding the net, and we can’t see him firing a blank against a tired Ukraine side on Saturday evening.
Kane has scored an impressive 35 goals in 58 games for England, and considering he takes penalties, you’d be a fool to back against him finding his scoring boots in the quarter-finals.
