About La Cartuja

Seville is a thriving footballing city with both Sevilla and Real Betis based in the city. However, neither of those two clubs use Estadio La Cartuja which is instead a multi-purposed stadium used throughout the year for various sporting events.

It is used to hosting major football matches such as the final of the Copa del Rey and Spain internationals.

Known locally simply as La Cartuja, the 60,000 seater venue has played host to Davis Cup tennis and major artists such as Bruce Springsteen, U2 and Madonna.
